Mid-Week Rules and Information

Matches are to start at 9:15am. A forfeit may not be claimed until 9:30am.

Mid-Week Division 1 play 4 (four) sets

First- 2 x 6 game DOUBLES (Tie-breaker to be played at 5 all)

1^st and 2_^nd players against 1^st and 2^nd players

3^rd and 4^th players against 3^rd and 4^th players

Second- 2 x 6 game DOUBLES (Tie-breaker to be played at 5 all)

1_^st and 3^rd players against 1^st and 3^rd players

2^nd and 4^th players against 2^nd and 4^th players

No finals will be played

Match Points

FOUR POINTS shall be given for a win

TWO points for a draw, plus

ONE point for each set won by the competing teams

Team Responsibilties

If RAIN is imminent, the home team captain must notify the visiting team if the courts are unsuitablefor match play.

For each match, the home team MUST provide four (4) good quality balls (with brand name visible).

Either captain may call off a match at any time due to wet slippery courts. One point awarded for each set won.

If on the night before a match, the temperature forecast for Mt Barker is 36 degrees or over, all MATCHES are CANCELLED.

PLEASE POST SCORESHEETS ON WEDNESDAY

Mid Week Tennis Scoresheets should be forwarded to the HTA Recording Secretary to be received NO LATER than the last mail on the THURSDAY following the match.

A team will lose all points for a match if it fails to submit a scoresheet.

 

Tuesday match results MUST be entered on the tennisscores.net website by 6pm on Thursday after the match

The fine for not entering the results on-time is NOW $20.00 per match
